Practicing Spiritual Energy Healing Techniques

By Lelia Hall

There are several cultures that believe most any health concern can be fixed by making sure the invisible power field that surrounds their physical form is in tune and their chakras are aligned properly. In order for a person to operate at their best, all systems within the body need to be in perfect harmony. Many seek to solve bodily issues by readjusting their aura using spiritual energy healing methods and techniques.

As an alternative to western medicinal practices, there are several holistic techniques one may use to bring an individual's aura into harmony. The primary purpose of these processes is to use the power of one's own body to heal various conditions and issues without having to resort to drugs and surgeries. All throughout history there are records showing these methods were widely used by many different cultures and civilizations.

A person's aura is actually a layered field of energies that surrounds their body and vibrates at various frequencies. A person in good physical and emotional health will resonate all layers harmoniously. When they are in pain or distress, or are experiencing trouble with a specific organ or system, the vibrations will be off and signify that treatment is needed.

These techniques are all based on the premise that an individual's energies can be used to heal issues within their own body, or directed towards another to aid in their recovery. Concentrated positivity in one's emotions, thoughts and intentions is a key part of many of the holistic methods practiced. Negativity should be kept at bay as it is a toxic force.

One of the key principals to many of the holistic methods is bringing all of the chakras into balance. This is a system founded by the ancient Hindus and is centered on the concept of seven wheels of power situated along the spine, each one controlling a specific nerve or endocrine center of the body. When one of these points becomes blocked, it stops spinning in harmony with the others, resulting in illness and requiring a cleansing.

Many times this is done using a technique known as Reiki, a process by which the healer channels their own energies through their hands to correct the imbalance in another individual. There is no physical touching in this method as the practitioner is working on the aura, that invisible field of energies, which stands between the two people. Using positive forces and thoughts, they are able to cleanse any blockages and restore harmony.

Similar to acupuncture, but with the absence of needles, acupressure is an ancient Chinese holistic method used quite commonly. One's fingers are used to press issue specific points on a body as a way to treat several conditions such as aches, pains, tension, stress and even arthritis. Targeted pressing of the muscles encourages proper blood flow, the release of endorphins and the stimulation of an individual's immune system.

Reflexology is another technique that is very similar to acupressure. This method states that the hands and feet contain points of contact to every other part body part, internal organ and operational system, and that by applying pressure on the correct spot, issues may be corrected. Each of these processes are practiced to help to restore a person's aura to prime conditions and allow them to heal many ailments without pharmaceuticals or painful surgeries.
