The herb rosemary can be found in many different culinary dishes but you may have been eating it all of this time and not realized that it actually has a variety of different health benefits. Rosemary has been used in the medical field to help with certain types of digestive disorders and also can help ease the pain that is associated with headaches.

There are two major ingredients that are found in rosemary that help aid for health benefits. The two ingredients are rosemarinic acid and caffeic acid which both act as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents. Therefore, rosemary can successfully help with asthma, heart disease and liver disease.

There are a few different ways that you can begin introducing rosemary into your daily diet so that you can gain all of the benefits that this herb has to offer. You can begin by adding this herbs leaves to your soups and other stews in addition to your meat and fish dishes. You will give your food a unique flavor and can enjoy the benefits that this aromatic plant has to offer. This will also taste great on lamb, pork and beef. Your digestive system will thank you for this especially if you suffer from a digestive disorder.

If you like to drink tea you can add a few leaves to a cup of tea and enjoy the sweet aroma while you drink it in. You can also add a bit of the leaves to an omelet or frittatas. This is also ideal and flavorful when added to roasted chicken and in fact some recipes call for this. You can mix rosemary leaves with olive oil to create a butter for your bread as a side or snack!

This can also help people who suffer from Alzheimer's disease due to the way it helps with brain circulation. The plant can also help with being an antibacterial and it helps skin conditions by promoting blood flow.

Introducing rosemary into your diet can also help your gallbladder by producing higher amounts of bile and it can also help with IBS symptoms like bloating and intestinal cramping. Because rosemary can flush out yeast causing bacteria's it is great for fighting yeast infections. Due to the fact that it reacts as a fungicidal it can also destroy cells infected with yeast and it destroys candida yeast as well.

By adding rosemary to your diet you will begin to notice how much better you feel and you will be doing your body a lot of good. This will not require you to make a drastic change but rather a small one as you can add just a bit of rosemary to your tea and food.
