To be a Home Health Aide (HHA) for a Home Health Agency in the State of Arkansas, you must meet at least ONE of the following requirements:

Home Health Aide training programs are usually offered by Home Health Agencies after you are hired.
Additionally, you will need to undergo a criminal background investigation, go through a tuberculosis screening (which will have to be repeated yearly), and have the ability to read and write English and carry out directions. Although not technically necessary, it might seriously increase your chances of getting hired if you have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. If the agency that you work for receives funding from Medicare, you must also meet Federal laws.
