Although not all insurance companies offer this type of coverage, there are some known states in America and other countries across the globe that require the said companies to offer insurance plans for infertility.

However, like any other insurance policies, infertility insurance also has limits. Most of these insurance plans only cover those inexpensive treatments. So it would be wise to ask your insurance provider all the specifics that go along with your insurance policy. This type of insurance plans also has limitations on the number of cycles for repetitive treatments. In most cases, three to five cycles will only be covered in the insurance. Infertility insurance also comes in three different types. The first type is the standard health insurance from which you will be required to make monthly payments to your insurance provider. In return, your insurance will cover the payments required for certain treatments that you may require. Refund program is a totally different type from which you will have to pay the whole amount of your needed treatment. You will only get a 70% to 100% of refund in the event of unsuccessful pregnancy after undertaking a treatment. The third type is called as financing from which applying for a loan will be your option to provide you with enough financing for your required infertility treatments. In most cases, loans are not required to be repaid in full unless successful pregnancy takes place.
